This week has been crazy. It's Saturday today and I'm still in office, expecting another full day's work. Anyway, just this morning, while I was using a web service which randomly shows pictures on the web, I found this series. :D
A lot of times I allow myself to slack spiritually when work increases. I have not been blogging much at my Christian blog if you guys noticed. Anyway, I don't exactly believe in coincidence, since I believe everything is in God's plans. So yeah, as I said, I manage to find this series randomly this morning, and it really touches me a lot.
Never let go, never give up. No matter how tough, how harsh, how impossible, how tiring, let us continue to hold on to the cross. I've noted another thing from the pictures. In this life journey, we're never walking alone. There are a lot of people walking alongside with us, and we can find encouragement in each other, and grow together.
No matter how adverse or desperate your situation is at the moment, trust Lord to set things right. I learnt two days back from a podcast I heard from Holy Trinity Brompton, which is about Martha and Mary.
Luke 10:38-42 (NIV)
At the Home of Martha and Mary
38 As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. 39 She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said. 40 But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!"
41 "Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."
In the podcast, it was teaching us not be distracted by every day's activities. Life will always be busy with no room for our Lord if we allow so many things to occupy our time. Ultimately, only one thing matters; listening to Jesus.
Let us seek Him first, before we seek other things in life. :)
Ok, time for me to get back to work! God bless all!

"Never let go, never give up.."
Exactly the same sentiments I feel now..haha
My boss told me to come back for work tomorrow, which is a Sunday, coz of some works to finish.. waaahhh!! hehe
Good thing he allowed me to come after church coz he knows that I'm a Christian that's why I'm excused for the morning. hehe
Anyway, makes me just think deep into where I am now... the world is really trying to give us a lot of stuffs to make our lives busy. Then if we're not so careful with what we believe and stand upon, there's a great tendency that we'll go astray from God's way. Oh well, so much for that.. i gotta go now for Praiselight practice! See yah around! winkz!
Adriel's thots~
So beautiful..
The cutting of the cross has many symbolism.
Procastination, bitterness, distractions, sin etc. All of it plague our daily christian walk and place our faith deep in testing. When we sin, not only are we cutting God's heart, but also the cross that we were called to bear. When finally faced with a deep trench, we then suddenly realised that we've pulled ourselves so far away from God.
Keep your cross guys. Though at times, it might be too heavy to carry, but hey! Jesus says, come to Him, all who are weary and tired. And He'll give you rest.
Just as he took the weight of the world on his shoulders, let us take the weight of the cross on ours.
God Bless.
