Psalm 130 (NIV)
A song of ascents.
1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord;
2 O Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy.
3 If you, O Lord, kept a record of sins,
O Lord, who could stand?
4 But with you there is forgiveness;
therefore you are feared.
5 I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I put my hope.
6 My soul waits for the Lord
more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning.
7 O Israel, put your hope in the Lord,
for with the Lord is unfailing love
and with him is full redemption.
8 He himself will redeem Israel
from all their sins.

Adriel's Thots~
How wonderful is it, that the psalmists reassures us that though God is a righteous and just God, He takes no record of our sins. As what was written, "if You, O Lord, kept record of sins, O Lord, who could stand." We've all fallen short of His glory and desperately need His grace.
I like the way Ps Rony puts it across:
When we turn to Him for forgiveness, He would dump all of our sins into the deepest part of the ocean, and then erect a large sign stating: NO FISHING.
That alone gives me comfort to humble myself and ask for forgiveness.
Never let your old sin pass you by. Never let it fester. Never procastinate and never think that you are too sinful to be redeemed.
As shared yesterday, Christ the Passover lamp has been sacrificed, and we can celebrate the new festival of the unleavened bread. Let us take up the bread of love and righteousness and expel the evil man or woman within us!
-1 Corinthians 5:7-13
